After quality of material installation procedures are essential in determining the life expectancy of a newly re-pipe building. We cut our pipes true, file smooth, and reamed to full bore tubing. These extra steps ensure low turbulence and noise in the system and help prevent corrosion. In addition all hot water tubing is installed with sufficient off set expansion loops to insure adequate compensation for the co-efficiency of expansion and contraction.

We maintain of constant stock of emergency service parts, couplings, repair clamps and more to help get you back up and running as soon as possible. We also make permanent repairs to all type of piping materials including PEX, copper, PVC, CPVC, and galvanized metal. Sometimes we can can even make pipe repairs without even shutting off the water.

Leaks under the house, in walls, or in the ground are most commonly caused by corrosion (the eating into or wearing away gradually, as by rusting or chemical reaction) of the galvanized iron pipes. Leaks at the faucets or shower valves could be caused by high water pressure.

Galvanized Piping: Iron water pipes coated with zinc to prevent rusting and corroding are called galvanized iron. As galvanized iron pipes age, the zinc coating gradually wears away, exposing the iron. The unprotected iron rusts rapidly in the presence of water, just as iron rusts when it is exposed to rain. Most pre-1970 homes were plumbed with this type of piping and will require repiping. This type of piping is also frequently used in underground water lines.

Rusty Discolored Water: Rusty or discolored water is caused by the rust from the inside of the pipes combining with the water flowing trough the pipes. This usually indicates an advanced stage of corrosion in the pipes.

Low Water Pressure: Low water pressure at a faucet, shower or washing machine is caused by the build-up of rust and corrosion on the inside of galvanized iron pipes. As these pipes age, the rust and corrosion continues to build restricting the flow of water more and more. When interior pipe corrosion gets really bad it often times breaks off in the pipe as pressure within the system fluctuates. This causes small pieces of debris to flake off and end up stuck in faucets and valves. Often times we see valves or faucets clogged with rust and pipe muck to the point that the shower valve or faucet need replacement.

Pipe Discoloration : Sometimes you'll notice green spotting or white/brown flaking around pipe joints. This is often due to small leaks in the pipe. These leaks are sometimes the result of poor installation methods or hard water. Either way it's important that pipe discoloration be addressed early on.
