Frequently Asked Plumbing, Heating, Air, & Drain Questions

Q. How soon can you make it to my house?

A. Most of the time we can make it out that very same day. We do our best to schedule our appointments in an accurately and we’ll always call you if we start to run behind. If you want to guarantee yourself same day service ask about our Preventative Maintenance Program.

Q. What is the Preventative Maintenance Program I keep hearing about?

A. The Preventative Maintenance Program, PMP, is a private membership club that is only offered to 25% of our clients. The program has several options to cover plumbing, HVAC, water heater flushing, and drain protection. You pick and choose based on your maintenance needs.

A Bellows PMP is for people who really love their home and want to be protected from unexpected plumbing, heating, air, and sewer breakdowns. It's protection and peace of mind you can count on.

  • $300 in service with our whole house plumbing and heat inspection. We’ll make minor adjustments and provide you with a detail report card explaining home's general health.

  • Value rate pricing and no weekend dispatch fees.

    Q. How much do you charge per hour?

    A. We don’t charge by the hour; jobs are priced by individual bid. Years ago we decided that it’s not fair to the client to make them pay by the hour because it leaves the price up in the air until the job is completed. You never really know how much you’re going to pay. Plus you have to pay extra for a slow technician; that doesn’t make sense. Instead, after properly diagnosing the problem, we'll give you a “Straight Forward Bid.” This way you know the total cost before any work is done; there are no surprises at the end of the job and you know you are getting the same price that previous clients paid.

    Q. Are you licensed and insured?

    A. We certainly are. All of our technicians are factory trained and must undergo continual performance and technical evaluation. They know their stuff. Plus we carry all of the required liability and workman's compensation insurance to protect the client.

    Q. What type of warranty do I get?

    A. One of our greatest assets is our willingness to work with clients, take responsibility and get things fixed. In the world of home repair defective parts, installer error, and even unexplainable events pop up from time to time. We handle all of these problems with class and integrity. We stand behind everything we do and will see your problem through to being fixed correctly. A lot of clients tell me the reason they choose Bellows is because they know they'll be taken care of.     Q. Can I supply my own material and have you install it?

    A. Of course you can, we are happy to installed any certified purchased fixture product for you. The only items we won't install are misc. fittings, ball valves, or other smaller material parts. There are some restrictions on the warranty so visit the warranty page for details.

    Q. I’m a little nervous letting a stranger into the house? Who can I expect to arrive at my door?

    A. We screen, interview, background check, and drug test all of our employees. Bellows Plumbing & Heating is a family owned and operated business, and I personally guarantee that I'll never employee someone that I wouldn't trust in my own home.

    Q. How can I pay for the service? Do you offer financing?

    A. We take all forms of payment: cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, and American Express. We can also set up a payment plan with you for those larger projects. Contact or office with questions.

    Q. Fully stocked truck? What do you mean by that?

    A. We arrive ready to work for you. Our trucks are stocked with 1000s of parts so that 90% of job can be done right there and then. This saves you time and money. No more having to wait around for supply house runs
