How Does it Work?

The Grundfos hot water circulating pump provides on demand hot water by installing a return line baffel at the farthest faucet from the water heater. As water slowly cools in the hot water line, the circulating hot water pump moves the hot water from the heater throughout the pipe back to the heater, creating a continuous loop of slow-moving warm water. When a faucet is turned on, warm water is instantly available for use with no waste.

Use it When You Need It

The Grundfos hot water circulating pump with timer is the best choice in energy conservation and convenience. The timer allows you to run the unit only when you need it. So during the middle of the night when everyone is asleep or in the middle of the day when everyone is out the pump shuts off and saves energy. Most people find that running the pump between the hours of 6am and 9am and 5pm and 10pm to be sufficient, but it is up to you.
